FYI:
Garry L. Smith, loving father to Beth Smith, and father-in-law to the famed bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman, is presently in failing health. Beth and Dog and a few family members are rushing to his bedside in Denver to hold vigil.
Garry who is best known for his quiet strength and loving sense of humor, for sharing his cooking skills with friends and family, and for the best green chili recipe in the world, developed an infection due to complications of the heart and Diabetes four weeks ago. He was given a pacemaker and underwent surgery. A series of horrible events forced Garry to endure another surgery, third degree burns, and two back-to-back infections that left him in critical care for several weeks. Currently, Garry is struggling to regain his health and the Chapman family is praying for him.
The Chapman family appreciates everyone’s concern and love for Garry. You can send cards and letters to improve his state of mind to:

The Dog
Raised in Denver, Dog is the oldest of four children born to Wesley and Barbara Chapman. His dad was a welder in the Navy, while his mother was a minister with the First Assembly of God who often traveled to Native American reservations to teach the gospel. Dog currently resides in Hawaii with his wife and business partner, Beth Smith, and three of his 12 children.
