IKUWA (Scorpio) Scorpion
Fish
October 23 - November 22
Scorpio, IKUWA in Hawaiian mythology,
is depicted by the Scorpion fish, akin to the Scorpion in Greek mythology, a fixed water
sign of a Governor or Inspector.
Those born under the sign of IKUWA
shall not be taken lightly, for to receive the wrath of IKUWA could surely be as painful
as the sting of the Scorpion fish. Though displaying a sharpness of tongue at times, their
words are a show of IKUWA's penetrating personality. Man or woman, theirs is a
determination to control their own destiny. In Hawaiian mythology, IKUWAs were generally
the great Hawaiian "Kahuna-Nui", the highest of priests, second only to the
King. Heralds of such strong beliefs, the IKUWA person will strike out in a dynamic clap
of thunder to be heard. IKUWAs command valued respect from others and are capable of
reaching great heights, artistically, commercially and financially. Above all, the IKUWA
is quite psychic and though he or she may not be aware of it themselves, it is sensed by
others who seek their advice and depend on them. According to the ancient Hawaiian
Calendar, IKUWA is the "Moon of Thunder in the Sky" month.
