I'm very thankful to come acroos IZ's songs and the story of His great life. See I have leukemia and I only ave 8 months to live according to my doctor. this is my second remission, and ever since I herd the news, ive been bitter and hopeless, I felt like the world is so bad to me and its an ugly place to be...Until I heard Iz's some and after I read about His life history...it hit me, He inspired me to appreciate and look at the wonderful world that I live at. Makes me see the world on a different and wonderful perspective.He is right, somewhere over the rainbow, there is hope for me, for my sickness. Thank You IZ. I hope that you can see how you made people see that life is wonderful. and If it happen that I will die in 8 months, I hope to God that I will meet you up there. You are an Angel.

I heard a couple songs off of Facing Future years ago, on NPR. I have been listening to the CD ever since. This CD has crossed into so many disc changers at work, here in a rural farm community-go figure. I guess we are not as different as we think. Thank you for all the music

Over The Rainbow has always been a favorite of mine, but never more so than the first time I heard it sung by Israel. I had never heard it sung more beautifully by anyone. It saddens me to know that it has taken me 10 years to find his voice, but glad at the same time because he is now singing with the birds and the angels, in the blue skies, above the rainbows. He passed 6 days after we lost our mother, here in Florida. I know she would have loved his music, his songs and his soothing voice. I'd like to think he's still singing and she's enjoying it, as much as all of us have.

Aloha, I visited Hawaii for the 5th time recently and was turned on to Brother IZ's music by a store clerk. His voice touched my soul like no other. I sing here at home and listen to many genres of music but no one has ever made me feel the deep thoughts like IZ. I'm deeply saddened that I didn't get the chance to meet this great man with the velvet voice. He was truly blessed and so were we for his life and music.
