IN August of 2005, My wife and I visited The islands of Hawaii for our honeymoon. From the moment the plane touched down, I felt drawn to the islands. Maybe it was the way the sud was burning down on us, maybe it was the smell of the Pacific, (we only get to smell the Atlantic in New Jersey), I dont know what it was, but I felt like I belonged there! My wife and I only had a week to spend in the glorious sunshine, and I was very sad to go when the time came for our departure. Upon returning to the mainland, I could not shake the feeling that I left a part of me there. I found some of Iz's music on Itunes, and when my life finds me in trouble, or too stressed out, I pop on some of his musc and it brings me back to the islands. Iz, in one of your songs, you tell us to email you, and I wanted to do so, but today I discovered that you are with us no more. I was heartbroken to hear that, because I wanted to share with you my thanks that your music was able to bring me back to the place I loved so much. Thank you Iz.

I first heard this mans haunting voice in 50 First Dates. The song Over the Rainbow came up in conversation at work and that is when I first learned IZ's name. The dude I was talking to said he had a CD with IZ's music on it and he would burn me a copy, that was about a year ago. Amazon just delivered Facing Future (12-20-06). Even though IZ's body let his spirit loose on the cosmos almost 10 years ago his, we call it mojo, I think you folks call it Mana, is still alive and strong. The proof is when IZ introduces himself through his music an he touches your heart, man the tears flow.

I have just discoverd Iz's music and after looking him up on the net was sadly disappointed to read he is no longer with us in this world.
