I recently won a trip to Hawaii. We stayed at the Kahala Resort. Their webpage had the most lovely song on it's intro. It touched my heart so deeply that after our return I emailed them to ask who the artist was of the song so I have just found out about Israel. I'm so sorry to find that he has already passed at such a young age. What a talented man! I intend to find out more about his music.

I first herd his version of 'somewhere over the rainbow' over a public radio station here in the UK recently and has been used on TV ads here. I was captured by the individualatiy her brought to the song and decided to download some of his music never hearing of him before. i must say his music is amazing and is able to touch people so easily. i've currenly got his songs on my Ipod never to be removed.

I LOVE his version of over the rainbow.. The wizard of oz has always been and continues to be my favorite movie., my dad used to always say Oh the wizard of oz is on. Terri's favorites movie and I got the TV for the night. My dad passed on to the next life while I was pregnant with his granddaughter and I am 53 years old now and married my second husband the true love of my life, I played Iz's version of somewhere over the rainbow as my wedding song with my daughter as my maidren of honor and it meant so much to me. Because my family knew my history with that song and I knew my dad was looking down on me with his beautiful granddaughter and me and my perfect mate and it meant alot to me and sums up how I feel about life. There is life over the rainbow and there is a wonderful life down here. Life is beautiful and so is the next life. There should be no sadness in death as we get to be with our loved ones again. and life continues.. love is what counts nothing matters but love. love your family..

To the IZ family. I have recently travelled to Hawaii Sep 06 from Australia for the first time. I purchased a number of IZ cd's and am absolutely in ore of this mans talent. I can't explain the immense pleasure he brings to me to reflect on life and allow me to relax with my young family. I even bought a Uke in Hawaii to play to my little girl. He has inspired me. Having just discovered the music of IZ, I am so saddened to learn that he has passed to his next life and left us behind. I visited Oahu in Oct. 2006 and wept when I had to return stateside. IZ's music represents the gentle, sweet beauty that Hawaii is to me. I have bought several copies of Facing Future to give as Christmas gifts because no other music has brought me such a sense of peace, or relaxed so much and I wanted to share that with people I love. I just want to say what an amazing voice this man had. I have only heard one song and it has touched my life and my heart forever. He had a gift, an anointing on him from God and I am so touched he used that gift. My heart, my hopes, my dreams will forever be changed because I have heard IZ sing Over the Rainbow. I had just bought the CD facing..It made me feel so good and relaxed.The music is just wonderful. I especially loved the way he sang, Somewhere over the Rainbow..
