Hello!
I am from Hungary. I can listen to Sky Radio (a Dutch radio) via cabel in Hungary. I first listened to IZ's song entitled "Somewhere over the rainbow" some weeks ago. I had listened to it 3-4 times before I realized that it is sung without any other instrument but a single ukulele. This recognition stroke me and I got interested in the person whose amazing voice made me think there was a whole orchestra in the background. Then I checked the playlist of the radio and found this site. Thank you IZ!

I was married on Sept. 5, 2004 on a beach on on the west coast of Michigan. Our song was 'Somewhere over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World' by IZ. On February. 9, 2005, I gave birth to my son Noah. During delivery, my husband surprised me and played that song. IZ was a talented artist. His music will live on forever.

My husband and I discovered Iz last October when we were married in Maui. We were seaching for music to play back at our wedding reception back home when we ran across "Facing Future" We were hooked. We listened to it the entire time we were in Maui. We could't get enough. Two weeks later at our reception we played our wedding video which was cut to his music.
No matter how chaotic life gets, listening to his amazing music always brings us back to our family, Maui, and the love we felt that day and continue to feel. We're both sad that he's gone but grateful to have found the gift he left behind.

I have heard the song "over the rainbow" many times and loved it, but nobody seemed to know the singer.....I finally tracked it down today only to find sadly that IZ has passed away. I beleive that people are directed divinly to touch the lives of people in wonderful ways. Brudda Iz...definately did for my family. I am not Hawaiian I'm Portuguese! I love the Hawaiian culture and feel the aloha spirit each time I go to Hawaii. I've been in Hawaii 3 times since 1994 and this past spring I was there with my two daughters for the first time, and this is when I heard his beautiful music. When I listed to Iz's music its almost as if I could scence his emotions as he sang his songs. I am so glad that it was this time around that I learned about him and was extremely sad when I learned he had past away even though it was 8 years ago! May he rest in peace and until we meet again! KMOX radio in St. Louis, Missouri played Somewhere over the Rainbow about a month or so ago at about 5AM. I heard this while I was at work and didn't catch who sang it, so I e-mailed the radio station to see if they would call me back. They just called and gave me this web site. The song was so beautiful, that me and a buddy of mine at work both stopped and listened to it. Now I know who sang it and was deeply moved by his life story. I heard this song on the ER tv- series & knew it was the right choice for music if & when my father passed on. He has had several health problems but was stable. The day I got this cd of the music SOMewhere Over the Rainbow I had no idea my father would pass away one week later. How special it is to hear this song such a beautiful version to help me when Iam sad.
