Leave it to a social worker to be an apologist! They overlook what isn't convenient to their argument and manipulate statistics to validate spurious arguments. It is such a pathetic plea: "Accept me! Please Accept me! I'll renounce my race. I'm not one of 'them'!

While the quantity of Caucasians is greater than the 60's so is the quantity of EVERY ethnic group. Duh! Populations increase in the presence of wealth and the absence of disease/war. While he is distracting you with the razzmatazz in his left hand his right hand is hiding the fact that the percentage of Caucasians has actually decreased. Even more importantly, the percentage of other ethnic groups, such as Filipino, has grown dramatically. The 'local' Japanese have controlled the DOE and Legislature since the 60's, the Filipinos have achieved greater dominance in the Medical School and all asians are considered 'local' whereas Caucasians are considered foreigners. The various Asian groups circle their wagons to promote their own self-interests and do business primarily with their "own" whereas the Caucasians are "unaligned" and will do business with anybody (perhaps Mormons & Catholics partially excluded). In the long run, given this disparity Caucasians have less influence and representation their percentage of population and given the generally higher education gleaned from the Census Bureau this is doubly troubling.
